One day, one of our customers, a teacher, gave her students the exercise, "Draw your dream schoolbag," and a 6-year-old drew a Cabaia schoolbag. She sent it to us, and we promised each other that one day that drawing would become reality.

Cabaïa, at your service

At Cabaia, we don't do things by halves.

To create and develop our products, we systematically work hand in hand with you. So we launched a major survey to find out what you really wanted from our new product: the schoolbag.

To start with, here's what you told us that makes you bristle at the current market:

- they wear out faster than a pack of Halloween candy,

- they're heavier than an elephant in a tutu,

- and they have less storage space than a Parisian apartment.

What's important to you is important to us.

Then you shared with us what was really important to you (and your child). And we picked out three things:

- sturdiness, because we don't want the schoolbag to give up the ghost before the end of the school year, or even the following ones;

- practicality, so there's even room for a snack;

- and ergonomics, so that even the smallest children can carry it without looking like a turtle carrying its whole house on its back.

But you don't stop there! You'd also like the schoolbag to be waterproof, lightweight and easy to clean.

Change your mind like a satchel..

Beyond these technical elements, there was something else to take into account: the fact that, let's face it, kids change moods and favorite colors like T-shirts (and we know how often that is!)... but also the fact that they grow up (way too) fast and their tastes evolve even faster.

Changing schoolbags every year? That's out of the question, so our schoolbag has to be adaptable and customizable...
